TSP has teamed up with Environmental Resources Group (ERG) and to provide UST Removal and Site Remediation for the State of Michigan. In addition to performing remediation by removing product from the ground, TSP also offers the option of immobilizing contaminants within a defined area. ERG offers expertise in underground storage tank installation, investigation and clean-up, as well as the regulations for operating tanks. Together, TSP and ERG offer a complete set of professional and contracting services for underground storage tank owners and operators.
The three-year contract Indefinite-Scope, Indefinite-Delivery (ISID) contract started Sept 1, 2017. The work involves removing contamination from leaking USTs and piping systems throughout the State. This contract focuses on “orphan” sites where party responsible for the contamination is no longer available to perform the cleanup. Although of the projects are small, they provide big opportunities for property owners and developers. We will provide excavation design, underground storage tank removal, soil excavation and sampling, monitoring well installation and sampling, and reporting for each project. Each success brings the state closer to its goal of eliminating contamination from leaking tanks.
We have already completed four projects since September and have many more on the way. TSP is excited to build on our relationship with the State of Michigan on this important environmental program.
